Hon.Engr Sir Clement Eloka Ikeh, a frontline politician and a member of the PDP in Nnewi North LGA, from Uruagu Quarter in Nnewi, who wants to fly the flag of the PDP for the state assembly seat of Nnewi state constituency has visited the Obi of Uruagu, Obi Afam Obi and elders of the council, to intimate them of his desire to represent Nnewi North LGA at the state house of assembly. 


Speaking at the palace of Obi Uruagu, Obi Afam Obi, Hon. Eloka Ikeh said that he is coming out to make a difference and to change the already existing narratives which has bedeviled Nnewi North LGA for sometime now, which has made it impossible for Nnewi to get the needed dividends of democracy they have ever yearned for. He said if the PDP gives him the ticket of the party that he will do all within his reach go ensure that he operates an open door policy.


Responding Obi Afam Obi IV, the Obi of Uruagu, thanked Hon. Engr Eloka Clement Ikeh for taking the bold step by coming to inform them of his desire to represent them. He said " charity begins at home, we are proud of you that you came to tell us of your intention. We pray that success follow your activities"

Tension In Uruagu Nnewi As Community Leaders Dare Soludo,Defy Court Order

The President of Uruagu-Nnewi Development Union, Chief Sunday Okoli aka Organizer, and the Obi of Uruagu-Nnewi community in Nnewi North local government area of Anambra State, His Majesty Afamefuna Charles Obi, have swept Soludo's directive to the gutters, by reason of their suspension and subsequent dessolution of the leadership of the community's youth forum, led by Ejike Ifejiofor, and subsequent appointment of caretaker executive to pilot the affairs of youths in the community.
