Group Honors EEDC Image Maker


In recognition of his positive impact to the society and the developmental strides exhibited in the area of community service and human empowerment, the Igbo-Etiti Media Association, South-East, Nigeria, nominated the Head, Corporate Communications of the Enugu Electricity Distribution Company PLC (EEDC), Mr. Emeka Ezeh for its “2022 Achievers Award”.


This is part of the Association’s program designed to identify and reward well-meaning Nigerians who have impacted positively on the lives of people in the society and also excelled in different endeavours of life.


Today, in Enugu, the President General of Igbo-Etiti Media Association, South-East, Nigeria, Comrade Ken Ugochukwu Nwodo, in company of one of his executives, Comrade Stanley Agbodo, presented the Award to Ezeh.


Receiving the Award, Ezeh thanked the leadership of the Association for the recognition and assured them that he will continue doing his best within capacity.


He further commended them for the support they have always extended to his office by ensuring that the right information is being disseminated to the public.


He encouraged them to remain resolute and unbiased in discharging their duties without fear or favour.


It will be recalled that in November, 2021, the National Youth Assembly of Nigeria (NYAN) bestowed on Ezeh the “Distinguished Youth Ambassadorial Award” as the “most customer friendly personality of the year”, in recognition and appreciation of his contribution to the growth and development of youths in Nigeria.

Tension In Uruagu Nnewi As Community Leaders Dare Soludo,Defy Court Order

The President of Uruagu-Nnewi Development Union, Chief Sunday Okoli aka Organizer, and the Obi of Uruagu-Nnewi community in Nnewi North local government area of Anambra State, His Majesty Afamefuna Charles Obi, have swept Soludo's directive to the gutters, by reason of their suspension and subsequent dessolution of the leadership of the community's youth forum, led by Ejike Ifejiofor, and subsequent appointment of caretaker executive to pilot the affairs of youths in the community.
