MMG Endorse Hon. Uche Okonkwo of Labour Party

 


~ Asks Supporters in Anambra Central to vote All Labour Candidates


A non government organization the mass movement for good governance has endorsed the candidate of Labour Party, Hon. Uche Okonkwo for the Idemili North & South Federal constituency. Hon. Uche Okonkwo is the son of former Senator for Anambra Central Senatorial District Senator Annie Okonkwo. While endorsing him, the founder and converner of the group Hon. Chukwuemeka Peter Erobu (Ochiagha Obosi) with over 5000 verified members in Anambra Central Senatorial District stressed that Hon. Uche Okonkwo is the person with the right faculties to represent Ndi Idemili North and South because of his youthfulness and dedication to serve the people. 


He therefore called on his people all over Anambra Central Senatorial District to remember to vote in all Labour Party candidates to help Mr. Peter Obi, when he finally emerges as the President of Nigeria to avoid a repeat of what happened in Anambra when he was governor. He went further to state that in Idemili North and South his group having endorsed Hon. Uche Okonkwo will see to it that he is delivered at the upcoming election on the 25th of February 2023. 


The state coordinator of the group Elder Chris Okwudili Obiora while addressing members of MMG Idemili North and South, thanked God for giving them a young man in the person of Hon. Uche Okonkwo whom he said has the requisite qualifications and vibrant disposition to take Idemili Federal constituency to greater heights. He therefore urged his members to support and vote for him on election day to ensure that he is elected with other labour party candidates in the district. He stressed that time has come for all to put their hands on deck to ensure victory for labour party. "The reason why we had to go with Hon. Uche Okonkwo was because when the father was at the national assembly, he was outspoken and he defended the masses. So, we are sure that if Hon. Uche Okonkwo goes to the federal house and Senator Victor Umeh at the Senate we are sure of quality representation."


In his response, Hon. Uche Okonkwo thanked the group for finding him fit to be counted as a personality that is worthy to represent them at he national assembly. He said" If elected, i will do all within my ability to ensure quality representation at the green chamber. I am a youth, and i know how the youths feel in our country today. We want real change that will affect the fortunes of Ndi Idemili." He promised to work with the group to ensure that the vision of the group which is good governance is achieved in the long run. He concluded.

Federal Polytechnic Oko Holds Two-Day Recruitment Interview to Address Staff Shortages

The Federal Polytechnic, Oko, Anambra State, has begun a two-day interview exercise aimed at recruiting qualified personnel to fill vacant positions arising from staff retirements and other forms of exit from service.
