NUJ Honor Amb Charles Nwonye with an award of Honor



Amb Charles Nwonye, a frontline politician, a community leader and an APGA stakeholder in Nnewi North LGA of Anambra state has been honored by the National Link Chapel of the NUJ, Anambra state council in an event which was held at Hilton leisure hotel Awka. 


Amb Charles Nwonye was one of the many awardees honored by the NUJ, National Link Chapel, because of their contributions to the development of their immediate communities. It's worthy of note that the board of National Link Chapel after a careful selection process found Amb Charles Nwonye fit to be given the award of *QUALITY LEADERSHIP AWARD,* This is based on his track record of community development, spanning over 8 years. Amb Charles Nwonye as the president general of Uruagu Nnewi community, built a strong security network which enabled the community have more security personnels, more vehicles, bikes, security trucks among others, which helped in no small measure to combat crime which further helped to bring adequate security in Nnewi. 


While receiving the award, Amb Charles Nwonye thanked members of NUJ Anambra state council for finding him worthy of such an honor. He said "I never knew that i was being followed in all i did in my community Uruagu,and in Nnewi too. I thank you for this honor and promise to keep on with the good works to the glory of God."


Amb Charles Nwonye is also contesting for Nnewi North state constituency for the election into Anambra state house of assembly under the platform of APGA.

Tension In Uruagu Nnewi As Community Leaders Dare Soludo,Defy Court Order

The President of Uruagu-Nnewi Development Union, Chief Sunday Okoli aka Organizer, and the Obi of Uruagu-Nnewi community in Nnewi North local government area of Anambra State, His Majesty Afamefuna Charles Obi, have swept Soludo's directive to the gutters, by reason of their suspension and subsequent dessolution of the leadership of the community's youth forum, led by Ejike Ifejiofor, and subsequent appointment of caretaker executive to pilot the affairs of youths in the community.
