His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma, who was today elected as the Chairman of Progressives Governors' Forum (PGF), paid an official visit to the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Abdullahi Adamu.


Speaking at the National Secretariat, Governor Uzodimma promised that under his watch, the forum will be very close to the party. He said, “The purpose of the forum is to give impetus to the activities of the party and the government. We are only going to act as salesmen that will market the policies and programmes of the government".


The Progressive Governors' Chairman further reassured that as constructive partners to the party, our loyalty to the party is absolute and we will work to build the party greater than we met it.


The Governor was in the company of other Governor members of the forum, including the former Interim National Chairman of the Party and Governor of Yobe State, Alhaji Mai Mala Buni, Yahaya Bello (Kogi), AbAbdullahiule (Nasarawa), Mohammed Bago (Niger) Uba Sani (Kaduna), Inuwa Yahaya (Gombe), Nasir Idris (Kebbi) and DapoAbiodun (Ogun).

Tension In Uruagu Nnewi As Community Leaders Dare Soludo,Defy Court Order

The President of Uruagu-Nnewi Development Union, Chief Sunday Okoli aka Organizer, and the Obi of Uruagu-Nnewi community in Nnewi North local government area of Anambra State, His Majesty Afamefuna Charles Obi, have swept Soludo's directive to the gutters, by reason of their suspension and subsequent dessolution of the leadership of the community's youth forum, led by Ejike Ifejiofor, and subsequent appointment of caretaker executive to pilot the affairs of youths in the community.
