Amaigbo Town Union visit Chukwukere



.... Declares full support for Uzodimma's government.


The Special Adviser to Imo Governor on University of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences Umuagwo Chief Ezekiel Chukwukere (Ogbuhereuzo) within the week recieved in audience the Executive members of Amaigbo town union , Imo state chapter at his office. 


I know this man, he is popularly refered to, sezied the opportunity to reassured his visitors of his commitment in proferring ideas that will advance the state economy.


The Special Adviser who thanked his people for identifying with him described the governor as a visionary leader who has impacted positively on different sectors of the state economy.


He further disclosed that the governor is paying fifty percent tuition fee of Imo students in the University studying Agriculture as a course and urged his people to reciprocate the Governor's good gestures by working in unison for his re-election.


The Vice Chancellor of the university, Prof. Christopher Eze commended the Amaigbo Town Union Executive for coming to identify with their son on his appointment as a Special Adviser and urged them to encourage their Children or wards with the recommended JAMB score and right subject combination to apply for admission into the university.


 Chairman of the Town Union Mr. Chima Ukaga thanked the Governor for appointing their son Chief Ezekiel Chukwukere and other Amaigbo people into his government and promised to ensure his re-election on November 11,2023 in appreciation of his good works in the state.


In another development,the Special Adviser to the Governor on University of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences Umuagwo Chief Ezekiel Chukwukere has commended an NGO known as Earth, Environment and Climate Care Ambassadors for working in line with the state government policy of "Go Green Initiative" adding that the Governor is committed to a friendly environment and improved food production in the state. 

The Vice Chancellor of the university Prof Christopher Eze thanked the group for coming to partner with the university in Greening the environment through tree planting noting that some human activities have contributed in degrading the environment.

The leader of the group and the state coordinator, Mr. Augustine Ikeriochi said the negative impact of climate change on the environment was alarming and solicited the collaboration of the university in the provision of free seedlings to create wider outreach in this year's tree planting exercise known as "Go Green Imo Initiative".

The different groups on the occasion later took turns to plant a tree in the university premises.
