CP ADEOYE VISITS NNEWI SECURITY CONTROL SYSTEMS, COMMENDS SENATOR UBAH'S GIANT STEPS



The Anambra State Commissioner of Police CP Aderemi Olufemi Adeoye on Sunday August 27, 2023, described the Control Systems of the Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) in Nnewi, Anambra State as a commendable initiative that will enhance security in the state. The Commissioner made this remark during his visit to the CCTV & Communication Control Room, which was facilitated by Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, the representative of Anambra South Senatorial District at the red Chambers. During the visit, CP Adeoye expressed his satisfaction with the state-of-the-art equipments and technology in the facility, stating that it will greatly aid the police in their efforts to combat crime and ensure the safety of the people. 


The Commissioner also commended Senator Ifeanyi Ubah for his foresight and commitment to the security of the state, noting that the installation of the CCTV system is a giant step towards achieving a safer Anambra and urged the people of the state to support the police in their efforts to maintain law and order, and to make effective use of the CCTV system by reporting any suspicious activities to the police.


In his response, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah expressed his gratitude to the Commissioner for his visit and kind words. He reiterated his commitment to the security and development of Anambra South Senatorial District and the State in general, stating that the installation of the CCTV system is just one of the many initiatives he has embarked on to ensure a safer and more prosperous state. The Anambra South Senator also called on other well-meaning individuals and organizations to support the police in their efforts to maintain law and order, as security is a collective responsibility, and reassured his constituents that the project will soon be expanded to other six local government areas that comprise the Senatorial District.
