UPDATE: SUPPLY RESTORATION AFTER TOTAL SYSTEM COLLAPSE

The Enugu Electricity Distribution Company PLC (EEDC) wishes to inform her esteemed customers of the gradual restoration of supply after the total system collapse.

Awada Transmission station has been restored and our Awada, Osamala, 3-3, Army Barracks, Nnewi-Orba, and Obosi 33KV feeders and the PPI and IUNT 11KV outgoing feeders have recieved supply so far in Anambra State.

Ugwuaji Transmission station has equally received supply and Gariki 33KV feeder was restored so far.

New-Haven Transmission station has received supply and Kingsway 33KV Line 1 and Power-House 11KV outgoing feeder have been restored so far.

Agu-Awka Transmission station received supply but is presently placed on station services only.

Kindly note that restoration after system collalse is gradual to avoid further collapse or challenges.

Restoration is ongoing and we appeal to our customers in locations that are yet to be restored to be patient as all hands are on deck.

Tension In Uruagu Nnewi As Community Leaders Dare Soludo,Defy Court Order

The President of Uruagu-Nnewi Development Union, Chief Sunday Okoli aka Organizer, and the Obi of Uruagu-Nnewi community in Nnewi North local government area of Anambra State, His Majesty Afamefuna Charles Obi, have swept Soludo's directive to the gutters, by reason of their suspension and subsequent dessolution of the leadership of the community's youth forum, led by Ejike Ifejiofor, and subsequent appointment of caretaker executive to pilot the affairs of youths in the community.
