Ndiakwu Community Celebrates Christmas, Empower It's Youths

Ndiakwu Otolo Community in Nnewi North LGA has empowered it's youths in the spirit of Christmas.

The National Chairman Of Ndiakwu Youth Assembly, Mazi Ikenna Egwuatu, said that his administration is running an open door policy administration and that has brought together the youths in the community.

Mazi Ikenna, made this statement during the end of year party and empowerment for the youths in the community. He urged the Youths of the community to keep away from any criminal tendencies and look for something doing, and promised that the community will support whosoever that desist from evil and bad behavior.

Furthermore, the former National Chairman of the Community, Hon Jude Osumuoh, JP, in his remarks assured the Youths that himself and the Present National Chairman of Ndiakwu Otolo Nnewi Community, Hon Izuchukwu Nwankwo, will do everything within theIr ability for the Youths in the community, stressing that anyone of them that can't afford their school fees to further their education will be taken care of by the community and anyone of them that have learnt any trade or craft will also be empowered and that the community will support such persons in any kind of handiwork.

However, one of the National Executive of the Community, Rtn Ugochukwu Okonkwo in the spirit of Christmas doled out one N1Million and a 2900 KVA Generator Set for the empowerment of the youths in the community.

Rtn Okonkwo however urged others to be of good behavior for a crime free society and not to be involved in any social vices.

Others present at the event are; the community National Executive, Board of Trustees, Stakeholders of the Community and other guests at the event.

Those that were empowered are Chidebere, who was empowered with N150,000 to support his Barbing Equipments, Oboh Chinasa N100,000 for her Salon Equipments,Victoria Anya, N100,000 for her Food Condiments, Ernest Muoneke N150, 000 for his Welding Equipment Chukwualuka Chukwujekwu, N200,000 Capital To Boost His Business, and Obinna Onuchukwu who was given a 2900KVA Generator Set to support his Business, all of them have O level certification.

Tension In Uruagu Nnewi As Community Leaders Dare Soludo,Defy Court Order

The President of Uruagu-Nnewi Development Union, Chief Sunday Okoli aka Organizer, and the Obi of Uruagu-Nnewi community in Nnewi North local government area of Anambra State, His Majesty Afamefuna Charles Obi, have swept Soludo's directive to the gutters, by reason of their suspension and subsequent dessolution of the leadership of the community's youth forum, led by Ejike Ifejiofor, and subsequent appointment of caretaker executive to pilot the affairs of youths in the community.
