Reps Member Paschal Agbodike Fetes APGA National Chairman On Two Years Anniversary

By Raymond Ozoji, Awka

The House of Representatives member representing Ihiala Federal Constituency at the National Assembly and caucus leader of APGA in the 10th House of Representatives of Nigeria, Rt. Hon. Dr. Paschal Arinzechukwu Agbodike, has felicitated with the National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa who clocked two years in office.

Agbodike who is also the Secretary of the entire Southern Nigeria Caucus of the House of Representatives, described Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa as indefatigable because he fought rigorous legal battles and won, stressing that he really deserves to be applauded and appreciated.

Agbodike who is a member of the ECOWAS parliament, explained that the need to celebrate the National Chairman of APGA can not be overemphasized because despite the malignant moves by their adversaries to take them by surprise, the National Chairman still triumphed in the end even as he hailed the National Leader of the party, Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, for fighting tirelessly to ensure that enemies didn't takeover the party.

He maintained that Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa's two years in office as APGA national chairman is worthy of celebration because if the pendulum didn't swing in their direction, enemies would have laughed at them but God, according to him, refused.

He therefore seized the opportunity of the congratulatory message to the national chairman to thank all the National Working Committee members, State Working Committee members and all who are working in tandem with the national chairman Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa in making sure that they uphold the ethics and code of conduct of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) especially as it concerns being their brothers and sisters keeper.

Agbodike was therefore of the opinion that the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) is the foremost progressive political party in Nigeria even as he mentioned that progressives are working together for the good of Nigeria. He prayed that God will continue to bless the national chairman with wisdom and resilience to enable him stand stronger in every storm as he pilots the affairs of the party.

The ECOWAS parliament member who stated that APGA is a people-oriented political party, maintained that the guiding principle of the party is to always do that which will benefit humanity backed by equity, justice and fairness.

He therefore thanked all positive-minded people of Nigeria who are supporting the programmes of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) while reassuring the party that he would remain steadfast as a true party man and would not cross carpet even in the most dire situations.

He recalled that even when the going got tough and some individuals within the APGA fold were enmeshed in divided loyalty, he stood his ground and accompanied the national chairman to all the court cases starting from the High courts to the Supreme Court where the chairman eventually conquered his enemies.

Agbodike said he used to be at the courts in person and not by proxy to show solidarity and to show everyone where he actually belonged until God heard their prayers through the national leader of the party Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo and the legal team who stood firm and defended that which is truth and just.

He equally extended profound appreciation to the former APGA national chairman Ozonkpu Victor Ike Oye whom he said stood firm to defend that which they started while praying that God will bless all APGA members as they prepare for the Anambra-South senatorial bye-election as well as the November 8th governorship election this year, stressing that they will all come out victorious in the aforementioned elections.
