Sir Izuchukwu Nwabueze Receives National Association of Dunukofia Students, Federal Polytechnic Oko


Ichie Sir Izuchukwu Nwabueze has received in audience the National Association of Dunukofia students of Federal Polytechnic Oko. The National Association of Dunukofia Students, Federal Polytechnic Oko Chapter led by their Staff Adviser Arc. Frank Okonkwo ( Currently the President general of Umunnachi Community ) and the National President - Osinamma Vitalis Kenechukwu who were accompanied by ; Abawi Chimezie Philip ( Secretary General ) , Anolia Uchechukwu Henry ( Director of Socials ) , Ekee Ogechukwu, Alfred Deborah C among others, came in solidarity for the good works Ichie Nwabueze has been doing in his Community land beyond. 


Their visit was inline with of the recent Dunukofia Day Celebration at Federal Polytechnic Oko where  Sir Izuchukwu Nwabueze was nominated as one of their Awardee Recipients,  but due to his inability to attend the occasion due to exigencies, they came around to present the award to him. 


Presenting the Award of Excellence to him, the President stated that the Award was in recognition of his unflincing support towards the growth and development of National Association of Dunukofia Students for which he was it's  Chapter President in 2004. 


In his reaction Sir Izuchukwu Nwabueze said that It was indeed a historic moment for him especially for the fact that NADS Fed Poly Oko Chapter remembered him after almost seventeen years ago after serving as it's Chapter President although he has remained supportive of the Association ever since then. He further thanked them for the Award and urged them to remain  good Ambassadors of the Association in particular and Federal Polytechnic Oko in general.

Tinubu Appoints Chioma Awuzie Substantive Rector, Fed Poly Oko

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of Dr. Chioma Irene Awuzie as the substantive Rector of Federal Polytechnic, Oko, Anambra State.  Dr. Awuzie's appointment, which takes effect immediately for a five-year term, follows the recommendation of the Polytechnic's Governing Council, chaired by Sen. Federal Polytechnic Oko Holds Two-Day Recruitment Interview to Address Staff Shortages

The Federal Polytechnic, Oko, Anambra State, has begun a two-day interview exercise aimed at recruiting qualified personnel to fill vacant positions arising from staff retirements and other forms of exit from service. The exercise commenced on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. and is being overseen by the Rector, Dr. Chioma Irene Awuzie, who personally announced the names of shortlisted candidates.
