Sir Eloka Ikeh meets PDP Nnewi North LGA executives.

 


...... Declares intent to represent Nnewi North with a difference. 




Sir Eloka Ikeh, a PDP House of Assembly Aspirant, for Nnewi North, yesterday payed a courtesy visit to the local government area executive of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) Nnewi North chapter.


The visit to party executives was to intimate them and equally interact with them on his desire to contest for Nnewi North house of assembly seat. He however used the visit to declare his intention to fly the Party's (PDP) flag at the Anambra State house of assembly election in 2023.


Sir Eloka, while interacting with the party executive, narrated how prepared (both morally, educationally and contact reach) he is, ahead of the 2023 polls and also pleaded for the support of the party and its stakeholders in quest to represent Nnewi North at the hallowed chamber in Awka. He stressed that he will show Ndi Nnewi the difference (Ifediche) as a legislator if given the mandate of the party. 


Sir Eloka Ikeh, however  described how he served as the vice president of Akaboezem Community (his village organization) and his attainment of Knighthood in the Anglican Communion, with his numerous contributions to the development and welfare of humanity.


"I grew up here in Nnewi, I had never lived outside Nnewi apart from my University education days. I know the needs and yearnings of Ndị Nnewi."


"I have contributed immensely to the development of my people and I am willing to do more. My people know my capacity to deliver if given the opportunity and I, Sir Eloka Ikeh (Ifediche) ask you to join me in this quest to show the difference."


In a response, the Chairman of the party, Prince Ifeamuma Nwafor Orizu, thanked him for the visit and equally told informed him of the current rebranding of the party, which he said will further strengthen the party structure ahead of the 2023 Elections.

Tension In Uruagu Nnewi As Community Leaders Dare Soludo,Defy Court Order

The President of Uruagu-Nnewi Development Union, Chief Sunday Okoli aka Organizer, and the Obi of Uruagu-Nnewi community in Nnewi North local government area of Anambra State, His Majesty Afamefuna Charles Obi, have swept Soludo's directive to the gutters, by reason of their suspension and subsequent dessolution of the leadership of the community's youth forum, led by Ejike Ifejiofor, and subsequent appointment of caretaker executive to pilot the affairs of youths in the community. The Anambra governor had, through a letter dated August 9, 2024, signed by the Permanent Secretary, Anambra State Ministry of Youth Development, Dr. Martin Agbili, warned the community leaders to stay any action regarding suspension of the Uruagu-Nnewi youth forum.
