MMG unveiled in Anambra to empower over 1000 Youths, partners Chinese firm.



An NGO, the Mass Movement for Good Governance(MMG) has been unveiled in Anambra. The event which took place at the popular ofala plaza had in attendence over 2000 people from all walks of life. MMG plans to empower over 1000 youths in Anambra from October 2022 to March 2023, This is squeal to a recently signed partnership agreement with HZS Biotechnology International, a Chinese firm based in Lagos Nigeria. The founder and convener of the group, Hon. Chukwuemeka Peter Erobu(Ochiagha)in an interactive session with newsmen in Nnewi after the unveling of the brand stressed that the group is a Non Governmental Organization and a pressure group which has been in existence for the past three years, and the group is presently in 13 states of the federation, with strong presence in the South South, South East and South West, with the mandate to ensure good governance at all strata of government across board, through the support of candidates with track records over the years.  


He said that the group also advocates for the eradication of poverty, inclusiveness of youths in governance, giving meaning to the less privileged ones  in the society and to also help in eradication of unemployment in the county. 



Hon. Chukwuemeka Peter Erobu maintained that the group will be empowering over 1000 youths across the 21 LGAs of Anambra state, in partnership with a Chinese firm HZS Biotechnology International, which is one of the vision of the group to help the masses  in the eradication of poverty and to ensure good health in the society. 


He stressed that anyone can join MMG once the person is a youth living in any of the LGAs of Anambra is qualifed to be part of the group. He averred that the group is bent on making sure that unemployment is eradicated through the massive empowerment in partnership with HZS Biotechnology International through health supplements. He however believes that the partnership will train the youths to be self sustaining in the area of business their partner is bringing on board. 



Adding her voice, the resource person for the HZS group Mrs. Chizobam Diala, said that the initiative is to ensure that proverty is eradicated in the country and with the support of HZS Biotechnology International, it will be a dream come true. She further stated that with the unveiling of the group's Empowerment Programa loud statement has been made across the Niger to help ensure good living and adequate healthcare in the zone. She said that   quest for the partnership between MMG and HZS is to ensure that the youths are properly engaged for their own good and common good of all. 


She therefore tasked the youths to take the scheme serious as it will be an avenue to liberate them from poverty and dependence on government for their needs.

Federal Polytechnic Oko Holds Two-Day Recruitment Interview to Address Staff Shortages

The Federal Polytechnic, Oko, Anambra State, has begun a two-day interview exercise aimed at recruiting qualified personnel to fill vacant positions arising from staff retirements and other forms of exit from service.
