Anambra's Flag will be mounted in many capitals of the world if I become Governor –Senator Ifeanyi Ubah

THE Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District,  Senator Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah has promised to make Anambra a destination of sorts through collaborative efforts if he becomes governor of the state in 2025. He said, “Anambra flag will be mounted in many capitals of the world to attract development to the state and our people in the diaspora will be motivated to come and invest at home”,

Senator Ubah who was formerly a pillar of the Young Progressive Party the YPP,  as the only Senator elected on its platform, where he carried the party to national limelight, recently defected to the All Progress Congress, in a bid to aling with the government at the center to bring the desired dividends of democracy to Anambrians. It's worthy of note that from all indication has interest to challenge the incumbent governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo in the contest of who becomes governor of the state in 2025.

In an interactive chat with newsmen at his country home in Umuanuka, Otolo Nnewi
opined that he will do a single term in office to complete the turn of the Anambra South Senatorial District in the spirit of the existing zoning agreement in the state. He said "I will to do only one term if elected in next year’s Anambra governorship poll"

Senator Ubah however promised to conduct local government elections in the state within four months if voted into office as the governor of the state, so as to spread development to all parts of the state.

He further stressed that four years is enough for any focused governor to take the state to greater heights and make the people happy, as governance is not rocket science.

Senator Ubah said that, as a private person, he has contributed immensely to the  transformation of the lives of many people in Anambra State, from various spheres of life, including sports, empowerment, education, commerce , employment, as well as overall youth and women empowerment.

He however observed that development under Governor Soludo has slow, adding that the people’s expectations that the Professor of Economics would take them to the next level have been dashed as the only thing the present administration do is the destruction of the people’s means of livelihood, which he bemoaned as inhumane.

Senator Ubah maintained that his blueprint for the development of the state is passionate to him, and will do everything within his power as a human being to see that it comes to fruition if elected come 2025

“My blueprints for the development of the state are innovative and none of my opponents can match them. If I become governor, Anambra State will be a commercial and health destination in the South-East, and Nigeria in general." He concluded
