Rtn Ugo Okonkwo Gives Back To Community, Empowers Youths

Rtn Ugo Okonkwo has empowered youths in his community to better their lot and help curtail the menance of unemployment. 

On Monday 29th, January 2024, Hon Izuchukwu Nwankwo,The National Chairman of Ndiakwu Otolo Nnewi Community,  commenced a youth empowerment program to combat crime and criminality in the community. 

The theme of the event; Ndiakwu Youth Skills And Empowerment Program To Combat Crime, Cultist And Criminality In Our Society.

Earlier, Hon Nwankwo said, that why they insisted on the cash empowerment program, was a promise made, and today he is here to fulfil it. He however pledged to support any of the youths in the community, to avert crime or any criminal record among the youths 

He also urged, them to be of good behavior as to whom much is giving, much is expected.   Among the six (6) people we given cash support to remember if any of you do well with the little one we gave him/her will be giving more", he noted.

Addressing the Youth, Hon Jude Osumuoh, President Nnewi Chamber of Commerce, reminded them that the cash support he is  giving to them was from their own, Rtn Ugochukwu Okonkwo who believes that when a youth is empowered, the youth will empower and train others.

Continuing, he said, "you're favored out of 13 people 6 was pick you all should be of good behavior and remember you all are the 1st in this empowerment skills program in this community. While we supported you is for you to support your families and your loved ones in the community."

He also urged, them to support anything good in the community, encourage each other and desist from anything that has to do with criminality or evil device.

"In a separate chat with a youth who benefited from the scheme, Ms Oboh Chinasa said, "when the promise was made to us sometime in December 2023, I never believed it will come to pass, all I have to say is thank you God, and also to the National Chairman as he will continue to be the National Chairman and its executive for thinking it wise to support the youths in their business."

She however commended the community for this empowerment as she has fund's now to buy her Saloon Equipment, which will boost her business and also support her family".

Ms Anya Victoria also appreciated Hon Izuchukwu Nwankwo and Hon Jude Osumuoh, for remembering the downtrodden in our society. She said "this has never happened before in this community, but I am a witness to it,  all I pray for is that God will remember them in all their secret prayers", she said.

Mrs Obinna Onuchukwu, who received a 2900 Generator Set to boost his Barbering Saloon at least 24hours light for his business to flourish, he expressed fulfilment and thanked the community leaders for having them in their mind and a special thanks to Rtn Ugochukwu Okonkwo. Others who were among the empowerment program are; Master Chukwualuka Chukwujekwu, Mr Ernest Muoneke, Welding Equipment and Mr Nwokolo Chidiebere.

Tension In Uruagu Nnewi As Community Leaders Dare Soludo,Defy Court Order

The President of Uruagu-Nnewi Development Union, Chief Sunday Okoli aka Organizer, and the Obi of Uruagu-Nnewi community in Nnewi North local government area of Anambra State, His Majesty Afamefuna Charles Obi, have swept Soludo's directive to the gutters, by reason of their suspension and subsequent dessolution of the leadership of the community's youth forum, led by Ejike Ifejiofor, and subsequent appointment of caretaker executive to pilot the affairs of youths in the community.
