Early Life and Education

Born in 1961 into the Anokwuru Royal family of Ozuzu Ancient Kingdom, Chief Amechi grew up in a polygamous family and is the first child of his parents. Despite his aristocratic upbringing, he chose to live an independent life, working as a houseboy and later as an auto mechanic apprentice.

Chief Amechi's educational journey took him to various institutions, including Bernard Carr Elementary, Port Harcourt, St. Joseph Secondary School, Umuaturu Etche, and Oakwood University, Hunstville, Alabama, USA. He holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Religious Education and an Associate's degree in Business Administration.

Work Experience and Entrepreneurship

Chief Amechi's professional experience spans various industries, including finance, oil and gas, and education. He worked as an Accounts Clerk with the Rivers State Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development and later as a Mortgage Loan Officer with Mia Financial Group in Houston, Texas, USA.

In 1996, he founded his own companies, including Maxi Mortgage Company, Maxi Investment Group, Maxi Dry Cleaners and Tailors, Westwood Academy, and Maxi Properties. Today, he is the CEO of AmeFyna Services Ltd, a marine and oil & gas company with interests in estate development and investment.

Social and Community Involvement

Chief Amechi is a member of various social and community organizations, including the United Igbo Elders Council Worldwide, Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo Worldwide, and the Rivers State Youth Movement. He is also a patron of several organizations, including the Igbo Concerned Citizens of Rivers State and the Non-Indigenes of Rivers State.

Chief Amechi has received several awards and recognition for his leadership, philanthropy, and community service.
