APGA Hails Senate's Confirmation of Mark Okoye II as SEDC MD

The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has congratulated the Nigerian Senate on the confirmation of Mr. Mark Okoye II, as the pioneer Managing Director of the Southeast Development Commission (SEDC). All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) stressed that as the pioneer Managing Director of SEDC, Okoye is expected to bring his wealth of experience to bear in driving the commission's mandate and fostering economic growth in the region. 

His appointment he said has been hailed as a major boost to the development of the South East region, and a significant milestone in the region's journey towards economic growth and development.

APGA therefore commends the Nigerian Senate for carrying out a thorough and rigorous confirmation process, demonstrating their commitment to ensuring that only the best candidates are appointed to key positions. The party has also expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing Okoye, describing the appointment as a testament to the President's broad-minded leadership and commitment to unity, Mazi Ejimofor noted

Okoye's appointment has been widely welcomed, with the Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Wing congratulating him on his well-deserved appointment. The group described Okoye as a "young and dynamic leader" who possesses exceptional leadership qualities and brilliance ³.

APGA also pledged to work with Okoye to drive development and prosperity in the Southeast region, and has called on all stakeholders to support him in his new role.

Tension In Uruagu Nnewi As Community Leaders Dare Soludo,Defy Court Order
