Valentine Ozigbo Shrugs Off Kidnap Prophecy, Declares Faith in Divine Protection

Valentine Ozigbo, a top contender in the 2025 Anambra gubernatorial election, has boldly dismissed a prophecy warning of a plot to kidnap and assassinate him. The prophecy, made by Evangelist Ebuka Obi of the Zion Prayer Movement Outreach, identified the target only by the name "Val."

Ozigbo, undaunted by the threat, reaffirmed his trust in God and his commitment to his political mission. "I am not afraid," he declared. "Our mission is divinely directed, and God is my shield" [Psalm 91:4]. He emphasized that his campaign is not about personal ambition, but about the destiny of Anambra and its people.

The former President and Group CEO of Transcorp Plc criticized the state government's delayed response to escalating violence, questioning why security only became a priority in an election year. He described his campaign as a collective struggle against the status quo, saying, "This campaign is not just my personal mission; it is our collective struggle. It is the voice of Ndi Anambra saying, 'Enough is Enough!'"

Ozigbo extended an olive branch to those opposing his movement, urging them to abandon fear-driven tactics and join in building a better Anambra. "Rather than resorting to fear and intimidation, you can decide to step into the light. You do not have to fight the future—you can be part of it. Join us," he said.

With his faith firmly rooted in divine protection, Ozigbo encouraged Ndi Anambra to remain steadfast, saying, "Do not be discouraged. Do not be afraid. Keep your faith firm, and keep moving forward." As a renowned philanthropist and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ozigbo's courage and conviction has made him a compelling figure in the Anambra 2025 governorship race.
