HON BLESSING UWAOMA NWOKONNNEYA CALLS FOR PARTY UNITY AND SYNERGY AS ALL PROGRESSIVES CONGRESS(APC) STAKEHOLDERS HOLD THEIR LOCAL GOVERNMENT MEETING.

The residence of Ezeji Ephraim and Hon Blessing Uwaoma nwokennneya was yesterday Wednesday 23rd April 2025 was a beehive of activities and was bombarded by key party leaders and Stakeholders as who is who in Isialangwa south All Progressives Congress( APC ) gathered to brainstorm, receive new members  and chat the winning ways for the Party in the LGA.

In an opening Remarks, Ezeji Ephraim Nwokennneya Eulogized the House of Representatives Deputy Speaker Rt Hon Benjamin okezie Kalu CON, for facilitating the Stakeholders meeting, for his uncommon leadership for our party both in South East in general and in Abia State in particular and for his firm belief and selfless service to the Nation and the party noting that Democracy is meant to thrive when responsible Leadership enthroned and supported.

He appreciated the distinguished leaders, respected Stakeholders and eminent party faithfuls for the large turnout from the 10 wards of isialangwa south noting that the meeting was called to solidify the unity and cohesion within the party and for deeper engagement towards achievinga strong party necessary for victory in 2027.

He called on the party faithfuls to brace up for the fight ahead by leveraging on the gift of our leader who is today the number 6 citizen of our nation to key Abia State into the national politics by making sure that APC take over the government house in Umuahia come 2027.

The Host warmly welcome over 200 new party members who joined the party.
He thanked them for aligning themselves with the agenda of APC while assuring them that they wil be accorded with all the rights and privileges of members of the party as our party is large to accommodate everybody.


The Abia State Party Chairman Dr Kingsley Ononogbu ablely Represented by the APC State Secretary Hon Chidi Avoaja in his speech enjoined the stakeholders to look beyond the moment and embrace the party with all their heart maintaining that all effort must be geared towards stabilizing the party, while on the other hand admonished every one to keep the doors open for more entrants saying that APC remains the party to beat come 2027.


Speaking at the meeting, the Abia state former commissioner for finance and Aspirant of the 2023 governorship election, Hon Obinna Oriaku 
Called on all stakeholders and members of the party to take responsibility and show More commitment citing the need for a more United and strategic APC noting that sitting Government of Abia State Can as well be defeated if the proper campaigns strategies and sensitisations are carried across the state and local government while he further affirmed that APC remains the best alternative and head way for their people and electorates in the State.


Her Royal highness, Hon. Ugoeze P C okpanku PhD while commending their host Also challenged their stakeholders to do  More especially the old members of the party to further embrace the new once by openly accommodating their ideas, differences and philosophy as that way the party will find her footings on the sands of democracy, stating that all progressives Congress has come to stay in Isialangwa south. 


Hon, Chief Gabriel onyendelefu the former accountant general of Abia State while speaking charged the Leaders for more commitments, civil engagement and inclusivity across board while he further sued for peaceful dialogue amongst members noting that it is the duty of stakeholders to further attract and invite more people into the party as they work towards recovering Abia State in 2027.

Another speaker, Chief Iyke Anyatuonwu the former ALGON State chairman while speaking at the meeting admonished the party faithfuls and all their members present to henceforth show More commitment and readiness towards supporting the party, noting that regular meetings of such magnitude will no doubt help to deep dive further engagement across all ranks of the party while equally charging members to show Love, empathy and mutual Respect for one another.

In her statement, The Chief convener and the hostess Hon Lady Blessing Uwaoma Nwokennneya appreciated the leaders for showing up in their numbers stating that such turn out portrays good future and More wins for  the party.

 In the same vain Hon Nwokennneya charged leaders to go home and activate their various wards insisting that politics remains local and as such More efforts must be made to keep the wards active and intact as they gear towards victorious outing in 2027.

She equally used the opportunity to congratulate the new members and defectors as well appreciated the the deputy speaker, federal house of Representatives, Rt Hon Benjamin Okezie kalu CON for his relentless support and contributions to the growth of the party in South East, Abia state and Isialangwa south Local government Area in particular.

Tension In Uruagu Nnewi As Community Leaders Dare Soludo,Defy Court Order

The President of Uruagu-Nnewi Development Union, Chief Sunday Okoli aka Organizer, and the Obi of Uruagu-Nnewi community in Nnewi North local government area of Anambra State, His Majesty Afamefuna Charles Obi, have swept Soludo's directive to the gutters, by reason of their suspension and subsequent dessolution of the leadership of the community's youth forum, led by Ejike Ifejiofor, and subsequent appointment of caretaker executive to pilot the affairs of youths in the community.
