Dr Chima Amadi Takes a Stand, Joins APP, Pledges to Rescue Imo in 2027

In a significant political development, Dr. Chima Matthew Amadi has formally joined the Action People's Party (APP), pledging to rescue Imo State from its current challenges and restore its former glory. Addressing a gathering of supporters and party faithful, Amadi declared that his decision was driven by deep concern over the state's direction, citing insecurity, poverty, failing infrastructure, and a crisis of governance.

"Today is not just a ceremony; it is a declaration of intent," Amadi said. "Imo State must rise again, and that rise will not be powered by one man, one family, or one clique, but by the people."
Amadi lamented the state's decline, noting that Imo, once celebrated for enterprise and resilience, is now mocked nationwide for problems that should never be normalized. He accused successive administrations of offering "deceit dressed as governance," pointing to the widening gap between official claims of progress and the daily realities faced by residents.

The APP chieftain outlined a policy agenda centered on improved security, economic revival, durable infrastructure, transparent governance, and policies that restore dignity to ordinary citizens. He called on Imo residents to organize, mobilize, and translate dissatisfaction into democratic action, urging them to give the ruling party a "red card" against insecurity, poverty, corruption, and waste.
"It is time to take our state back," Amadi declared. "Imo is not for sale. Imo is not for jokes. Imo will rise again."

Amadi's declaration has sent shockwaves throughout the state's political landscape, with many observers speculating about the potential impact on the 2027 general elections. As the APP prepares to take on the ruling party, one thing is certain – the people of Imo are eager for change, and Dr. Amadi's move may be just the catalyst they need.
