ADC Chieftain Ikebunwa Lotanna Bags Honorary Doctorate in Real Estate Management, Corporate Governance

Amb. Ikebunwa Lotanna, a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), entrepreneur, and grassroots mobiliser, has been awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Real Estate Management and Corporate Governance by European-American University.

The conferment ceremony, held at Ibis Hotel Ikeja, attracted a distinguished gathering of dignitaries, political stakeholders, business leaders, and well-wishers from across the country.

The recognition comes amid Lotanna’s growing profile both in business and politics. Widely regarded as a rising force within the ADC, he has continued to build strong grassroots support while maintaining a thriving career in Nigeria’s real estate sector.

He began his journey as a realtor with PWAN Group, where his performance and professionalism earned him national recognition. In 2025, he emerged as one of Nigeria’s top-performing realtors, recording property sales exceeding ₦1.5 billion within a year—an achievement that set him apart in the industry.

Leveraging this success, he founded Palms Realty and Investment Limited, which has rapidly expanded its footprint and established itself as a notable player in the property market.

His impact has also been acknowledged at the Nnewi Heroes Award, where he was named the 2025 Real Estate Icon of the Year, further cementing his reputation as a leading figure in the sector.

Beyond his business achievements, Lotanna is a lecturer and an advocate for responsible leadership and corporate governance. His commitment to community development is evident in his philanthropic efforts, including a recent ₦1 million donation to the Nnewi Academic Congress to support indigent students across Nnewi North, Nnewi South, and Ekwusigo.
He also extended humanitarian support during the yuletide season, distributing food items and financial aid to vulnerable individuals, while collaborating with security agencies to ease traffic congestion during the festive period.

Political observers note that his blend of enterprise, philanthropy, and grassroots engagement reflects a leadership style anchored on service, accountability, and impact—qualities that continue to strengthen his standing within the ADC.

The honorary doctorate not only celebrates his accomplishments but also underscores his emergence as a dynamic political figure and entrepreneur. As he continues to expand his influence, Amb. Federal Polytechnic Oko Holds Two-Day Recruitment Interview to Address Staff Shortages

The Federal Polytechnic, Oko, Anambra State, has begun a two-day interview exercise aimed at recruiting qualified personnel to fill vacant positions arising from staff retirements and other forms of exit from service.
