Nwajiuba launches Better Education Service Delivery for All (BESDA) in Jalingo

The Honorable Minister of State for Education, Hon Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba today in Jalingo, capital of Taraba State formally launched the Better Education Service Delivery for All (BESDA).

The Honorable Minister reiterated the commitment of the Buhari led administration to ensure that every child has access to education in Nigeria. He said though the programme was targeting the out of school children, it also factors in the children of vulnerable.

Playing host, to the Honorable Minister, was the Executive Governor of Taraba State, Arc. Darius Dickson Ishaku,who commended the Federal Government for making Taraba State a beneficiary of the programme.

Also present at the launch is the Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Education, Arc. Sonny Echono, officials of the Federal Ministry of Education as well as the members of the Taraba state Executive and Legislature and traditional rulers.

Federal Polytechnic Oko Holds Two-Day Recruitment Interview to Address Staff Shortages

The Federal Polytechnic, Oko, Anambra State, has begun a two-day interview exercise aimed at recruiting qualified personnel to fill vacant positions arising from staff retirements and other forms of exit from service. The exercise commenced on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. and is being overseen by the Rector, Dr. Chioma Irene Awuzie, who personally announced the names of shortlisted candidates.
