SIR EMEKA OFFOR VISITS GOVERNOR OTTI, PROMISES ADEQUATE SUPPORT TO DEVELOPMENTAL PROGRAMMES IN ABIA

The Chief Executive Officer of Chrome Group and Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC), Sir Emeka Offor on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, paid a courtesy visit to the governor of Abia State, His Excellency Dr Alex Otti at the state’s Government House, Umuahia. Speaking at the event, Sir Emeka Offor commended Dr Otti for his historic efforts to restore the confidence of Abians in government.

Sir Offor who is also known as Sir E, also commended the Abia State Governor for his efforts in restoring the lost glory of Aba and urged him not to relent in providing dividends of democracy for the people of the state. 

The Anambra business mogul also commended governor Otti for executing numerous road projects in the state and assured him that he would always provide the needed support to his administration especially in area of power supply. He further informed the governor that he was there to appreciate and encourage him, and urged him to keep the good works up.

Responding, Governor Otti appreciated the Chrome Group and EEDC boss for his words of encouragement and support. He also appreciated him for his patriotism and giant moves to promote the wellbeing of Nigerians through his Foundation, Sir Emeka Offor Foundation, and prayed for more grace and wisdom upon him.

Tension In Uruagu Nnewi As Community Leaders Dare Soludo,Defy Court Order

The President of Uruagu-Nnewi Development Union, Chief Sunday Okoli aka Organizer, and the Obi of Uruagu-Nnewi community in Nnewi North local government area of Anambra State, His Majesty Afamefuna Charles Obi, have swept Soludo's directive to the gutters, by reason of their suspension and subsequent dessolution of the leadership of the community's youth forum, led by Ejike Ifejiofor, and subsequent appointment of caretaker executive to pilot the affairs of youths in the community.
