Our Culture Has Come to Stay- Orji Nwafor Orizu.

The son of the first Senate President of Nigeria, Orji Nwafor Orizu (SAN) has restated the fact that the Nigerian culture has come to stay, as culture remains the only identity of any human enclave.

He made this assertion over the weekend at his country home in Nnewi, when he received in audience a masquerade from the Igwe of Nnewi palace name Akuezu.

He stated the obvious that foreign culture has so far permeated the loins of Igbo cultural heritage and tasked our youths to revert to their origin.

He stressed that in Europe and America they still practice and celebrate Halloween and wondered why a folklore and entertainment of Africans in form of masquerade should be termed evil.

He gave his consent to the fact, that he he journeys to world beyond that masquerades should be allowed to play at his funeral.

He therefore called on the youths to look home wards in discovering their roots so that the tradition and culture of Igbo's do not go into extinction.

He used the opportunity and thanked Akuezu masquerade for finding him worthy to be part of it. He in appreciation of Akuezu gave them a live cow and cash to support them.
