HON. AGABIGE IN EARLY LEAD AS HON. EKENE NNODUMELE DECLARES SUPPORT FOR APC

In what appears to be a major boost to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the ongoing Orsu State Constituency election, Hon. Francis Uche Agabige, the APC candidate, has taken an early lead. This comes on the back of an unexpected declaration of support for the APC by Hon. Ekene Nnodumele, the incumbent house member, and APGA candidate for the Orsu State Constituency.

Hon. Francis Uche Agabige, a well-known grassroots politician, had been vigorously campaigning across Orsu, seeking to secure the party's ticket to contest in the House of Assembly election. His campaign had been focused on improving the economic, social, and educational fortunes of Orsu, a local government area in Imo State.

On the other hand, Hon. Ekene Nnodumele, who is also a respected politician in the area, had been running for re-election as the APGA candidate. Nnodumele had been campaigning on the record of his effective representation of the Orsu people in the House of Assembly.

The election had been closely contested until Hon. Ekene Nnodumele's recent announcement that he would be backing Hon. Francis Uche Agabige of the APC. His decision to switch camps came as a surprise to many political analysts, given his loyalty to the APGA party.

With Nnodumele's support, Hon. Francis Uche Agabige appears to have taken an early lead in the Orsu State Constituency election. The development has energized the APC's supporters in the area, with many expressing optimism that Agabige would emerge victorious.

As the election continues, observers expect the two main parties to intensify their campaigns to secure the crucial House of Assembly seat. However, with the support of the incumbent house member, Hon. Francis Uche Agabige may have a significant advantage in the race.

The Orsu State Constituency election is just one of many being held across Imo State, and the results are expected to be a barometer of the popularity of the two main parties in the state. Whatever the outcome of the election, it is clear that Hon. Francis Uche Agabige's campaign has received a major boost with the support of Hon. Ekene Nnodumele.
