RT HON KENNEDY IBEH EMERGES FIRST THIRD TERM STATE ASSEMBLY MEMBER;







.......COMMENDS GOVERNOR HOPE UZODINMA AND THE PEOPLE OF OBOWO FOR THE CONFIDENCE AND TRUST.


History was made in Imo  as Rt Hon Barr Kennedy Chidozie Ibeh became the first third term State Assembly Member; all thanks to the people of Obowo for the confidence and trust reposed in his ability to represent them. 


The APC candidate’s victory is a testament to the party’s popularity and acceptance by the people of Obowo. It also shows the level of trust and confidence the people have in the APC-led government and its ability to deliver on its promises.


The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in the early hours of today declared Rt Hon Barr Kennedy Chigozie Ibeh of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner of the Obowo State House of Assembly seat in the just-concluded State Assembly elections. 


In an unprecedented landslide victory, the APC candidate, Rt Hon. Barr Kennedy Ibeh, emerged winner with a total of 4256 votes, while the candidate of Labour Party had 3764 votes, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) polled 2083 votes. While the Accord Party Candidate got 2018 


It's the first time a third Term State Assembly Member is emerging in Imo State. The election which was conducted peacefully, had the people of Obowo trooping  out en masse to cast their votes for their preferred candidates. INEC officials were present at the polling units to ensure a free, fair, and transparent election.


The people of Obowo have spoken with a loud voice by voting the Ranking member Representing Obowo State Constituency. 


The reward for good work is more good work. That is why the people of Obowo expressed their confidence in Rt Hon. Ibeh’s ability to keep  representing them at the State Assembly. 


In his acceptance speech, Rt Hon Ibeh, thanked the Executive Governor of Imo State, His Excellency Senator Hope Uzodimma and the people of Obowo for the confidence and trust. He dedicated the victory to God Almighty

Tension In Uruagu Nnewi As Community Leaders Dare Soludo,Defy Court Order

The President of Uruagu-Nnewi Development Union, Chief Sunday Okoli aka Organizer, and the Obi of Uruagu-Nnewi community in Nnewi North local government area of Anambra State, His Majesty Afamefuna Charles Obi, have swept Soludo's directive to the gutters, by reason of their suspension and subsequent dessolution of the leadership of the community's youth forum, led by Ejike Ifejiofor, and subsequent appointment of caretaker executive to pilot the affairs of youths in the community.
