The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) announced the final results in Awka early Sunday morning, declaring Soludo victorious after collating votes from all LGAs. According to the official figures released by INEC, a total of 584,054 votes were recorded across the state, with Soludo polling 422,664 votes, a commanding lead over his closest challenger, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who garnered 99,445 votes.
