ADC Vows to Mobilize 35 Million Voters to Unseat APC, Tinubu in 2027

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has declared its intention to mobilize at least 35 million voters to unseat the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu if he seeks re-election in 2027. This bold move was announced by ADC National Chairman, Ralphs Okey Nwosu, at the party's global summit in Abuja.

Nwosu questioned the legitimacy of a presidency secured with fewer than 10 million votes, given the over 88 million registered voters in Nigeria ahead of the 2023 general election. He emphasized that the ADC is repositioning itself to take on the electoral challenge and reverse widespread voter apathy.

The party's strategy includes targeting Nigerians who have abstained from voting due to disillusionment, as well as engaging young people who turned 18 between 2023 and now. Nwosu revealed that civil societies have joined the party, bringing their membership to over five million, and are expected to mobilize 20 million voters.

Nwosu stated, "The 35 million benchmark is just an understatement because of some of the challenges we have in this country. For the first time, the next president of Nigeria will win clearly." He also announced that the ADC is building a broad coalition with other political parties to defeat the APC in 2027.

"We are bringing many political parties together, and I can assure you without mincing words, you're going to see the biggest coalition of patriots, people-driven coalition," Nwosu said. The ADC's ambitious plan aims to shake up the Nigerian political landscape and potentially alter the course of the country's history.

Tension In Uruagu Nnewi As Community Leaders Dare Soludo,Defy Court Order
