The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Anambra Sector Commander, Joyce Nnennaya Alexander, has received prestigious awards and recognition for her outstanding contributions to traffic management and humanitarian efforts in the country.
Commander Alexander was on May 10th 2025 honored by the Ultimate Business Women and Farmers Association of Nigeria (UBWFAN) for the FRSC's tireless commitment to safeguarding lives on Anambra State's roads and supporting community-based safety initiatives.
On the same day, she received another award at the World Red Cross Day celebration, themed "On the Side of Humanity," held at the Nigerian Red Cross branch office in Amawbia. The event highlighted the organization's dedication to alleviating human suffering and promoting dignity.
In a statement made available to this medium through the sector public education officer, RC Margaret B. Onabe stressed that the FRSC Anambra Sector Command remains committed to promoting road safety and supporting community development initiatives. These recognitions she said are reflections to the fact that the Corps is dedicated to serving humanity.
"The awards underscore the importance of the FRSC's role in ensuring the safety and well-being of road users and the community at large. Commander Alexander's leadership and commitment to humanitarian efforts have set a high standard for the organization." She concluded.
