Uchenna Ogbuawa Raises Alarm Over Alleged Plot to Eliminate Him by Stepbrother Onyedikachi Ogbuawa

SAVE OUR SOUL (SOS): LIFE IN DANGER, JUSTICE UNDER THREAT!

NNEWI, Anambra State

In what appears to be a terrifying descent into family betrayal, land disputes, and threats to life, Mr. Uchenna Ogbuawa, the first son of the late Chief Pius Ogbuawa, has raised a passionate and desperate cry to the general public, the Nigeria Police Force, the Department of State Services (DSS), human rights organizations, and well-meaning Nigerians urging them to intervene swiftly to save his life and prevent a total breakdown of peace within the Ogbuawa family.

Speaking emotionally during an exclusive interview at his office in Nnewi, Uchenna Ogbuawa alleged a deadly plot against his life orchestrated by his stepbrother Onyedikachi Ogbuawa, in active connivance with their sister Amara, their mother Hope Ifejika, and a handful of selfish advisors whose sole interest, he claims, is to reap where they did not sow.

According to Uchenna, his stepbrother has launched a vicious campaign of lies and intimidation to illegally encroach on family properties already peacefully shared by their late father, Chief Pius Ogbuawa and their father's brother or Umuna as commonly known in Igboland. He revealed that Onyedikachi recently circulated a defamatory voice recording, aimed at destroying his reputation and discrediting the father's third wife, Mrs. Amaka Ogbuawa, with whom he shares a mother-son bond.

Even more disturbing, Uchenna alleges that Onyedikachi filed a caveat emptor notice on all family land, showroom and Uchenna Ogbuawa's house in the village without informing or seeking consent from rightful stakeholders, fraudulently claiming there was a dispute in order to scare off potential buyers and block development efforts.

“My late father, in his wisdom, ensured all his children were settled. He gave Onyedikachi five plots of land to develop. Instead of building on it, he now wants to take over my own inheritance the very property my father and mother was buried on, which was also willed to me as tradition demands as the first son of the family from the first wife. Uchenna Ogbuawa said that his brother has refused to build on his own land and is fighting to displace him using blackmail, diabolic means, and threats,” Uchenna cried out.

He further claimed that Onyedikachi has made several efforts to intimidate and harass him, even going as far as allegedly manipulating officers from the Aguata Police Command to unlawfully detain and harass him and other family members — an effort that was only stopped by the intervention of concerned individuals.

“I have every reason to believe that they are plotting to eliminate me just to take over what rightfully belongs to me and my late father’s wife, Amaka Ogbuawa. These attacks are not just against me, they are against justice, peace, and the legacy of our father. I am calling on the Inspector General of Police, the DSS, the National Human Rights Commission, and every Nigerian with a conscience to hear me — my life is in danger,” Uchenna warned.

He questioned the morality and legality of Onyedikachi’s recent court injunctions on already shared family properties and accused him of not only greed but also of actively pursuing conflict for selfish gain.

“If anything happens to me or to any member of my family — let the world know that Onyedikachi Ogbuawa, Amara, and their mother Hope Ifejika should be held responsible. They want to silence me so they can take over everything. I am the only son of my mother and they want me out of the way by all means,” Uchenna said with visible fear and frustration.

This Save Our Soul (SOS) call is not just a family matter — it is a plea to preserve life, uphold justice, and maintain peace in Nnewi, Aguata and beyond. The authorities must act swiftly before this matter escalates into violence or tragedy.

WE CALL ON:
The Inspector General of Police

The Director-General of the DSS

The National Human Rights Commission

The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA)

Civil Society and Religious Leaders

All well-meaning Nigerians

…to urgently intervene and investigate this matter. We cannot allow evil to thrive under silence. Justice must prevail. Peace must be protected. Life must be saved.

This is not just a cry — it is a warning. Act now. Save Uchenna Ogbuawa. Save justice. Save our soul.
