Akpabio Commissions More Projects In Akwa Ibom North-West Senatorial District

President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio on Monday commissioned more projects as he continued the tour of his constituency in Akwa Ibom North-West Senatorial District.

During the tour, the Senate President was accompanied by his wife, Dr. Unoma Godswill Akpabio.

Two blocks of 14 classrooms each were commissioned in Etim Ekpo Local Government Area. Other projects such as fully furnished Modern Health Centre, an ICT Centre and an ultra modern market were also commissioned for the benefit of his constituents, who trooped out in their thousands to welcome Akpabio's entourage at the project sites.

Speaking at the commissioning sites, Akpabio thanked the people for coming out in their thousands to welcome him. He assured them of his total commitment to their welfare and uplifting of their living standards through viable projects.

"Let me thank you all for coming out to receive me, it shows that you all voted for me. In appreciation of your support for me, President Bola Tinubu and our party, Mr President has, through me, approved several life changing projects to be sited in Etim Ekpo. You haven't seen anything yet. Your votes for APC in 2023 is now speaking for you."

In appreciation, the political leader of Etim Ekpo and Pro Chancellor of University of Calabar, DIG Udom Ekpoudom rtd, on behalf of the Elders of the council presented Akpabio with a royal sword as a symbol of authority.

Tension In Uruagu Nnewi As Community Leaders Dare Soludo,Defy Court Order

The President of Uruagu-Nnewi Development Union, Chief Sunday Okoli aka Organizer, and the Obi of Uruagu-Nnewi community in Nnewi North local government area of Anambra State, His Majesty Afamefuna Charles Obi, have swept Soludo's directive to the gutters, by reason of their suspension and subsequent dessolution of the leadership of the community's youth forum, led by Ejike Ifejiofor, and subsequent appointment of caretaker executive to pilot the affairs of youths in the community.
