Obiano Debunks Death Rumour, Says He Is “Hale, Hearty and in Excellent Health”

Former Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano, has dismissed a rumour circulating about his health, describing it as false and mischievous.

In a personal message to the public on Thursday, Obiano assured Ndi Anambra, friends, and well-wishers that he is “alive, hale, hearty, and in excellent health,” adding that he remains grateful to God for sustaining him.

He expressed concern that some individuals still derive satisfaction from spreading unfounded claims, noting that the motive behind such falsehood remains unclear. However, he emphasized that he would continue to rise above such acts.

Obiano also extended heartfelt appreciation to those who reached out to him with calls, messages, and prayers following the rumour.

“To everyone who showed concern, your love and goodwill mean more than words can express,” he said, urging the public to completely disregard the speculation.

He reaffirmed his commitment to staying focused and guided by God’s grace.
