Anambra State Government Revolutionizes Education with Smart Learn Initiative

The Anambra State Government has taken a significant step towards transforming education through technology with the launch of the Smart Learn Anambra initiative. This innovative program aims to empower both students and teachers by integrating modern technology into classrooms, bridging the digital divide and providing equitable, future-ready education for every child in Anambra. 
Key Components of Smart Learn Anambra include 22 Pilot Schools, with the initiative to equip them with state-of-the-art digital tools, e-learning platforms, and interactive content.

The program focuses on building digital literacy among students and teachers, preparing them for future careers in technology, science, and digital innovation. The selected schools will have modern facilities, including solar power systems, Android TV screens, reliable internet connectivity, and e-learning tools.
Also a "Train the Trainer" conference was held on March 26, 2025, in partnership with Edves, a leading provider of school management software solutions, to equip educators with modern tools and digital skills.

 
The Smart Learn Anambra initiative is a flagship program under the Soludo administration, aimed at repositioning education in Anambra State through technology-driven reforms. Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo's vision is to build a smarter, brighter future for all Anambra students, making Anambra State a model for smart education in Nigeria. 


The initiative is a collaborative effort between the Anambra State Government and Edves, with the government expressing gratitude to the Governor for his unwavering support for educational innovation.

Valentine Ozigbo Resigns from Labour Party

In a shocking move, against all speculations over the last few days, Valentine Ozigbo, a close ally of Peter Obi, has announced his resignation from the Labour Party (LP).
