Oko Poly Inaugurates Senior Staff Disciplinary Committee; Charges Members on Fairness

Federal Polytechnic, Oko, has taken a significant step towards maintaining discipline and fairness within its ranks.

Towards this end, the Rector of the polytechnic, Dr. Irene Chioma Awuzi, inaugurated the Senior Staff Disciplinary Committee in the institution.

She charged the committee members to discharge their duties with commitment and impartiality. She emphasized the importance of fairness, and reminded them to "wear human face" in their decision-making processes, ensuring that there is no room for victimization.

Dr. Awuzie also explained that the inclusion of chairmen from various unions in the committee was a deliberate effort to ensure fairness on their members. She pledged her support to the committee in order that they will succeed in their responsibilities.

Chairman of the committee, Dr. Egwuchukwu Ifenso, thanked Dr. Awuzie for entrusting them with sensitive responsibility. She promised that the committee would strive to discharge its duties without fear or favour.
