Federal Polytechnic Oko Management Shows CompassionTo Injured Student

The Federal Polytechnic, Oko, Anambra State, has extended a helping hand to one of its students, Ejali Divinefavour Ogechi, a National Diploma (ND2) student of the School of Science and Laboratory Technology (SLT). Ogechi was tragically injured in a hit-and-run motorcycle accident around Amaokpala area of Anambra State and is currently receiving treatment at the National Orthopaedic Hospital, Enugu.

The Rector of the institution, Dr. Chioma Irene Awuzie, demonstrated the polytechnic's commitment to supporting its students in times of need by sending a delegation to visit Ogechi. The team, led by the Dean of Student Affairs, Comrade Chibuzor Asomugha, presented a palliative package of N100,000 to assist with her treatment and recovery.

During the visit, the Dean of Student Affairs expressed the institution's concern for Ogechi's well-being and offered support in the form of financial assistance to help with her medical expenses. He emphasized the importance of looking out for one another and wished the student a swift recovery.

The gesture by the Federal Polytechnic, Oko, highlights the institution's commitment to fostering a compassionate community. The N100,000 lifeline provided to Ogechi will go a long way in offsetting her medical expenses and ensuring her speedy recovery. The institution's actions demonstrate its dedication to supporting its students and promoting a culture of care and empathy.
