Prince Oforbuike Okoli-Egbo Visits Hausa community leader in Nnewi, Donates Generator Promises Inclusive leadership

The candidate of the Young Progressives Party YPP, in the forthcoming senatorial district bye election in Anambra south has visited the hausa community in the district. In a move that underscores his commitment to inclusive governance, Prince Oforbuike Okoli-Egbo paid a courtesy visit to the traditional leader of the Hausa community in Nnewi, Alhaji Salihu Suleiman.

During the visit, Prince Okoli-Egbo pledged to appoint a representative from the Hausa community into his advisory council if elected, ensuring their voices are heard and their challenges addressed. He also donated a 5kva generator to power the palace, noting the absence of electricity during his arrival. He described the Hausa community as a strategic partner in the district’s development and emphasized the need for synergy to move Anambra South Senatorial District forward.

In his remarks, Alhaji Suleiman commended Prince Okoli-Egbo for being the first candidate to visit them, highlighting their pressing needs for water, electricity, and better roads. He expressed gratitude for the generator and prayed for his victory in the August 16 election.

Federal Polytechnic Oko Holds Two-Day Recruitment Interview to Address Staff Shortages

The Federal Polytechnic, Oko, Anambra State, has begun a two-day interview exercise aimed at recruiting qualified personnel to fill vacant positions arising from staff retirements and other forms of exit from service.
