Why Prince Oforbuike Okoli-Egbo Should Be the Next Senator for Anambra South Senatorial District

In a time when Nigeria’s youth population continues to surge, full of ideas, energy, and untapped potentials. it is only right that leadership begins to reflect this reality. Nowhere is this more urgent than in Anambra South Senatorial District, a zone richly populated by young people who are demanding more than promises. They want representation that mirrors their identity, understands their struggles, and is actively invested in their future. This is why Prince Oforbuike Okoli-Egbo, the candidate of Young Progressives Party (YPP), stands out,not just as a candidate, but as a necessity for the district

Prince Oforbuike Okoli-Egbo is not your typical politician. He represents a fresh generation of leadership, one grounded in community service, youth inclusion, and people-first policies. As a President General of his community Nawfija, he has maintained a steady and visible presence among the very people he seeks to represent. It's on record that he has done more than enough as a President General, with the attraction of so many projects for his community, most of which have been completed. His daily interactions with young people across Anambra South have given him deep insight into their challenges, like unemployment, insecurity, lack of access to education, skill-building opportunities, poor infrastructure, and political exclusion. This is what he aims to change by going to the Senate.

Unlike older politicians who often operate at a disconnect from the everyday realities of the youth, Prince Oforbuike lives those realities with them. He feels their pain. He understands their dreams. And more importantly, he listens. His track record at the grassroots level proves that leadership is not about age but about impact, vision, and accessibility.

The 2025 Anambra South Senatorial District bye-election is not just a political contest; it is a generational choice. It is about choosing a voice that speaks the language of the youth and understands the rhythm of their heartbeat. With over 60% of Anambra South’s population falling under the youth demography, it is both politically and morally sound to vote in someone who comes from among them.

Prince Okoli-Egbo is offering more than rhetorics,he is offering representation that aligns with the aspirations of a new Nigeria. His candidacy reflects the dawn of a youth-led revolution where competence, connection, and character matter more than political age or recycled experience.

This is not a time to recycle yesterday’s ideas with yesterday’s people. It is youth o’clock in Anambra South. And it is time to elect someone who is not just running for the youth but with them.
